MASSENA GREENOCK SHIRAZ 2021

Massena Greenock Shiraz 2021, from Barossa’s Greenock subregion, is a deeply colored, beautifully balanced wine brimming with blackberry, macerated plum, boysenberry, and perfumed violet aromas. The palate is rich and expressive, loaded with dark plum, licorice, clove, and toasty oak, plus hints of earth, ironstone, and dark chocolate. Fine tannins provide structure and lead to a long, persistent finish with lingering dark fruit and spice. Destemmed and fermented with extended skin contact, the wine spends 20 months in French oak (25% new), delivering power, structure, and a mineral energy true to its limestone soils.
